In 2015-16, Rajasthan State started the Widow B.Ed Scheme for widows or abandoned women.

Widow B.Ed Scheme-Rajasthan - Introduction

The state government of Rajasthan reimburses the course fees for B.Ed. in teacher training institutions for widows or abandoned women who enroll in the program, providing them with much-needed support.

Benefits

  • Financial Assistance: ₹17,880 (Fee Reimbursement).

Eligibility

  • Candidates must be of Rajasthan origin.
  • Only women enrolled in B.Ed training will be beneficiaries.
  • Applicants must be regular students of the B.Ed training program at any government or recognized private institute in Rajasthan.
  • The beneficiary woman must be divorced and abandoned.
  • Women who have already obtained a B.Ed degree by enrolling in a B.Ed course will be ineligible.
  • A minimum of 75% attendance at the institute is mandatory.
  • The candidate should not be a beneficiary of any other government scholarship or equivalent scheme.

Application Process

  • Applicants have to visit the official portal.
  • If applicants are not registered users, they need to click on register and complete the registration process.
  • If applicants are already registered users, they need to click on login with their SSOID & password.
  • Fill out the application form.
  • Provide the required documents.
  • Submit.
