Viranarayan Singh Shram Ann Yojana - Introduction
The Labor Department of the Chhattisgarh State started the scheme “Viranarayan Singh Shram Ann Yojana” for unorganised workers on 17 January 2018. The main objective of the scheme is to provide food assistance to unorganised workers at their workplaces.
Benefits
- Hot food is being distributed to construction workers at ₹5/- in food centers.
- Cooked rice, dal, vegetables, khichdi, fai dal, cumin rice, fried dal, and vegetables are provided.
- Pickles will also be provided along with the food.
Eligibility
- Registered unorganized workers are eligible for benefits.
Application Process
- There is no need to apply to avail the benefits.
- Beneficiaries can avail benefits by visiting their nearest food distribution center.
