Transportation Scheme (Gujarat Gopalak Vikas Nigam) - Introduction
The scheme Transportation Scheme by the Gujarat Gopalak Vikas Nigam, Government of Gujarat, aims to provide loans for the purchase of auto rickshaws and loading vehicles. Through this scheme, financial assistance for vehicle purchase is offered to the Rabari and Bharwad castes from the socially and educationally backwards classes. The scheme is implemented by the Gujarat Gopalak Vikas Nigam.
Benefits
Loans are provided on an individual basis to purchase auto rickshaws and loading vehicles.
- Maximum Loan Limit: ₹2,00,000/-
- Interest Rate: 6% per annum
- Loan Amount: 95% of the vehicle cost
- Beneficiary Contribution: 5% of the vehicle cost
Eligibility
- The applicant should belong to the Rabari and Bharwad castes from the socially and educationally backward classes.
- The applicant's age should be between 21 and 45 years.
- The applicant's annual income should not exceed ₹3,00,000/-.
Application Process
- Step 1: Register on the Official Portal
- Go to the Official Website Gujarat Gopalak Development Corporation. Scroll down on the homepage, find the "Transportation Scheme," and click on "Apply Now".
- You will be directed to the application form.
- Step 2: Access and Fill Out the Application Form
- Select "Transport", enter Unit Cost, and specify the Required Loan Amount.
- Provide Aadhaar, Ration, Voter ID, full name (Last, First, Father/Husband), address, district, taluka, village, PIN, date of birth, age (21-45 as of 14/08/2023), caste, subcaste, phone, mobile, email, gender, and marital status.
- Enter income certificate number, issue date, issuing officer's name, total annual family income (up to ₹ 3,00,000/-), and parent/guardian's occupation.
- If "Physically Handicapped", select "Yes" or "No". If you selected "Yes", provide the percentage (in %).
- Indicate if any family member works in a government or private job. If "Yes", provide their Name, Designation, Place, and Salary details.
- Select your Education Qualification: Uneducated, Educated, Graduation, Post Graduation, or Other Degree.
- If you have taken a past loan, select "Yes" or "No". If you selected "Yes", provide loan details (date, amount, paid, remaining) and your account number.
- Enter driving license number and expiry date. For passenger vehicles, select "Yes" or "No". If you selected "Yes", provide the base number. For transport vehicles, select "Yes" or "No". If you selected "Yes", provide the transport license number.
- Provide the dealer's name, address, vehicle name, and vehicle price.
- Provide bank account number, bank name, branch name, name as per account, account type (Saving/Current), MICR code, and IFSC code.
- Step 3: Review and Final Submission
- Carefully review each module. Use the preview option to examine the application before final submission. Fill out the provided "CAPTCHA" and click on "Submit".
- Track and Review Status
- Applicant will receive an Application ID/Reference Number. Save or print the acknowledgement for future tracking.
- Go to the Official Website Gujarat Gopalak Development Corporation. Scroll down and locate the Know App Status. Click on "Know App Status".
- Select the Scheme name, Enter App No., and Birth Date. Fill out the Captcha and click on Submit.
