Small Scale Lending Scheme (Microfinance) - Introduction
The scheme "Small Scale Lending Scheme (Microfinance)" by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Government of Gujarat, aims to provide microcredit to the small entrepreneurs of the target group. The scheme provides loans up to ₹1,25,000/- at subsidized interest rates of 5% per annum to eligible beneficiaries.
To be eligible, the applicant must belong to the Rabari and Bharwad castes among the socially and educationally backward classes and must be aged between 21 to 45 years. The scheme is implemented by Gujarat Gopalak Vikas Nigam. The applications for this scheme are accepted online through the Department of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry (DAAD) Online portal.

Eligibility

Application Process
- Step 1: Visit the daadconline.gujarat.gov.in of DAAD Online. At the bottom of the page, in the "Details of the Scheme" section, click the “Apply Now” button adjacent to the scheme that you intend to apply for.
- Step 2: In the online application form, fill in all the mandatory fields and upload all the mandatory documents in the specified format and size. Carefully review all the information provided and the documents uploaded. Make any necessary corrections. Complete the Captcha code as prompted. Click the "Submit" button after verifying all information. Upon successful submission, a Confirmation Number will be generated. Carefully note this number, as it is essential for any future edits or uploads.
- Step 3: Visit the official website or portal, and click "Print Application". Provide the mandatory details such as Scheme Name, Date of Birth, and Confirmation Number. Click "Submit" to generate the final printable version of your application. Save or print the document for your records.
