Medhavi Putra/Putri Chhatravritti Yojana - Introduction
"Medhavi Putra/Putri Chhatravritti Yojana" is a Scholarship Scheme by the Department of Labour, Employment, Training & Skill Development, Government of Jharkhand. This is a 100% State Sponsored Scheme. Only the residents/domicile of the state of Jharkhand can apply to this scheme. The applications for this scheme are accepted online through the official website of the department (shramadhan.jharkhand.gov.in). The scheme provides scholarships of up to ₹ 50,000/- to the children of the registered workers.
Eligibility
- The applicant should be a domicile in the state of Jharkhand.
- The applicant should be a student.
- The applicant should have passed the previous examination with at least Second Division or 45% marks in any examination (except Class 1st to 5th) or have got admitted/enrolled in the course on the basis of a competitive examination.
- The applicant should be the child of a worker registered with the 'Jharkhand Building and Other Construction Worker Welfare Board (JBOCWW Board)'.
- The scholarship can be availed by up to two children of the registered worker.
