Labour Skill Training Scheme (MPBOCWWB) - Introduction
Launched on 1st August 2018, the "Labour Skill Training Scheme" is a skill development initiative by the Building and Other Construction Workers Board, Government of Madhya Pradesh. The scheme offers free skill training to construction workers aged 18-45 years and their dependents aged 16-45 years, with eligibility based on age criteria for both workers and their dependents.

Eligibility
For Registration as a Building/ Construction Worker:
1. The applicant should be a resident of Madhya Pradesh.
2. The applicant should be a Building/ Construction Worker.
3. The applicant should be between 18 and 60 years.
4. The applicant should have engaged in any building or other construction work for at least 90 days during the preceding 12 months.
5. The applicant’s Registration is renewed annually.
For the Application of the Welfare Scheme:
1. The applicant should be registered under the Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board of Madhya Pradesh.
2. The applicant is a construction worker aged 18 to 45 years and their dependents aged 16 to 45 years.
3. The worker’s membership with the Welfare Board must be active at the time of application.
Application Process
- Step 1: The interested applicant should visit (during office hours) the Regional Officer, Public Relation Officer, Contribution Recovery Officer, Welfare Officer, Welfare Supervisor, Welfare Inspector and request the hard copy of the prescribed format of the application form from the concerned authority.
- Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, paste the passport-sized photograph (signed across, if required), and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).
- Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents, within the prescribed period (if any), to the authority.
- Step 4: Request a receipt or acknowledgement from the concerned authority to whom the application has been submitted. Ensure that the receipt contains essential details such as the date and time of submission, and a unique identification number (if applicable).
NOTE 1: Ensure that the application is submitted within the prescribed period, if any.
NOTE 2: The deadline for applying under the scheme is within 30 days from the publication of the application invitation.
