The "Petrol Subsidy Scheme" implemented by the Food, Public Distribution & Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Jharkhand, aims to provide financial relief to economically disadvantaged families by offering a petrol subsidy for their two-wheelers. Under this scheme, beneficiaries under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) or Jharkhand State Food Security Scheme receive ₹25/- per liter of petrol for up to 10 liters monthly.

Eligibility
General Eligibility:
- The applicant should possess a valid ration card under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) or Jharkhand State Food Security Scheme.
- All family members listed in the ration card must have Aadhaar numbers linked and verified.
- The applicant's Aadhaar should be linked to a valid bank account and an updated mobile number.
Vehicle Eligibility:
- The applicant's two-wheeler must be registered in their name and in the state of Jharkhand.
- The applicant must possess a valid driving license.
Exclusions
Application Process
Registration Process:
- Download the CMSUPPORT app or visit the official portal jsfss.jharkhand.gov.in.
- Enter your ration card number and Aadhaar number.
- An OTP will be sent to the mobile number linked to the Aadhaar. Verify the OTP.
Login Credentials:
- Use your ration card number as the login ID and the last 8 digits of your Aadhaar as the password.
Filling the Form:
- Select your name from the family members listed on the ration card.
- Enter your two-wheeler's registration number and driving license details.
Verification Process:
- Submitted vehicle details are sent to the DTO (District Transport Office) for verification.
- Post verification, the data is forwarded to the District Supply Officer (DSO) for final approval.
Approval and Disbursement:
- Once approved, the subsidy amount is transferred directly to the applicant's linked bank account through DBT.
