a) The Industrial Skill Development Allowance scheme aims to support eligible Himachali youth in enhancing their skills while working in an industry or industrial establishment. b) By participating in this scheme, Himachali youth will have the chance to develop their skills and gain valuable experience in their respective employment sectors. This, in turn, will significantly enhance their employability prospects and open doors to better employment opportunities.
c) Under the provisions of this scheme, all apprentices and fresh recruits who meet the eligibility criteria will be entitled to receive the Industrial Skill Development Allowance. This allowance serves as financial aid to assist the youth in their living expenses while actively engaged in skill development activities within the industry. The scheme recognises the importance of continuous skill enhancement and aims to support the youth in their pursuit of professional growth and development.
Eligibility
- Age: The scheme is open to individuals between 18 and 36 years. Those falling within this age range are eligible to participate.
