Housing Assistance Grant - Introduction

“Housing Assistance Grant” is a social security scheme by the State Sainik Board, Government of Uttarakhand. Under this scheme, a one-time grant is provided for the construction/repair of houses to the widows, dependents of the martyred soldiers, and those soldiers who have become physically disabled in various wars, border skirmishes, and internal security.

Benefits

  • A one-time grant of ₹2,00,000 for the construction/repair of the house.

Eligibility

  • Applicant should be a widow or dependent of a martyr or disabled soldier due to war.

Exclusions

Application Process

  • Step 1: Prescribed format can be collected from the nearest District Sainik Welfare Office.
  • Step 2: Fill the form properly and attach all the documents (attested, if required).
  • Step 3: Submit the form at the District Sainik Welfare Office.
