House Subsidy Scheme - Introduction
The housing subsidy scheme was launched by the Government of Himachal Pradesh to provide financial assistance to individuals from marginalized sections for the construction of their own houses.
Under this scheme, a subsidy of Rs. 1,30,000 is provided to persons from Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes, Minority Communities, Single Women, or handicapped for the construction of their houses.
This scheme aims to improve the living conditions and overall quality of life of individuals from these sections.
Eligibility
- The applicant should be a resident of Himachal Pradesh.
- The applicant should belong to Scheduled Caste, Other Backward Classes, Minority Community, Single Women, or Handicapped.
- The applicant's annual income should be less than Rs. 3.00 lakhs.
- The applicant should not have availed of any such subsidy earlier.
- The applicant should have a bonafide Himachali certificate of the couple.
- The applicant should possess a Scheduled Caste/Other Backward Classes/Minority Community/Single Women or Handicapped Certificate.
- The applicant should have income and revenue papers (Record of Right – Parcha & Tatima).
- The applicant should have a recommendation from the concerned Gram Panchayat.
- Latest photographs of the present house are required.
