Grant for Purchase of Tools (BBOCWWB) - Introduction
Grant for Purchase of Tools scheme is implemented by the Bihar Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (BBOCWWB), Labour Resources Department, Government of Bihar. Under this scheme, registered construction workers who have completed skill upgradation training are provided financial assistance of up to ₹15,000/- for purchasing trade-related tools.

Under this scheme, financial assistance of up to ₹15,000/- is provided to registered construction workers for purchasing trade-related tools upon completing skill upgradation training.
Eligibility
- The worker should be engaged in building or construction work.
- The worker should be registered with the Bihar Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
- The worker's membership with the Welfare Board should be active at the time of application.
- Only registered workers who have completed any skill upgradation training are eligible to avail benefits under the scheme.
Exclusions
Application Process
- The interested applicant should visit (during office hours) the concerned Labour Office and request a hard copy of the prescribed format of the application form from the staff exclusively entrusted to issue and collect filled-in applications.
- In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attested, if required).
- Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents to the concerned Labour Office.
