Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana

The scheme is to provide maternity benefits to women belonging to socially and economically disadvantaged sections of society. For first child the maternity benefit of ₹5,000 is provided in two instalments under PMMVY and second child, it is ₹6,000 is to be provided subject to second child is girl.

Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme (Punjab)

In this scheme, persons aged between 60 and 79 years receive a pension of ₹200/- per month, while those aged 80 years and above receive ₹500/- per month. The scheme applies only to persons belonging to the Below Poverty Line (BPL) category.

Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme (Punjab)

“Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme (IGNWPS)” provides a pension of ₹300/- per month to widows aged 40 years and above. After attaining the age of 80 years, the pension amount increases to ₹500/- per month.

Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme (Punjab)

The “Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme (IGNDPS)” provides ₹300/- per month to disabled persons (80% or more disability) aged 18 and above. After age 80, the amount increases to ₹500/-. Dwarfs are also eligible.
