Group Insurance Scheme for Powerloom Weavers
The basic objective of this scheme is to provide insurance cover to the powerloom weavers in the case of natural death, accidental death as well as partial and permanent disability due to accident.

National Handloom Development Programme (NHDP): Scholarship Component
The scheme targets the children of these weavers, offering financial assistance of up to ₹2,00,000 annually. This support covers tuition, admission, and examination fees at recognized textile institutions. Additionally, beneficiaries receive a monthly stipend of ₹5,000.
Jute Resource-Cum-Production Centre
Jute Resource-Cum-Production Centre (JRCPC) will be set up in the local clusters and localities across the country in collaboration with bonafide Agencies who have adequate experience in training and skilling programs and have required training cum-production infrastructure.

The sub-scheme “Infrastructure and Technology Support” aims to develop world-class infrastructure in the country to support handicraft production, enhance product quality, and reduce costs to enable it to compete in the global market.
National Handloom Development Programme: Concessional Credit/Weaver MUDRA Scheme
The scheme aims to provide adequate and timely assistance from the banks to the handloom sector to meet their credit requirements for term loan & working capital in a flexible and cost effective manner across the country.
Marketing Incentive under the Handloom Marketing Assistance Component of the National Handloom Development Programme
The scheme aims to develop and promote marketing channels for handloom products to bring greater visibility to the sector and ensure commensurate remuneration to weavers. It provides Marketing Incentive to eligible handloom agencies for creating conducive conditions for marketing handloom products.
Jute Raw Material Bank Scheme
Jute Raw Material Bank Scheme (JRMB) will be set up in the local clusters across the country in collaboration with bonafide Agencies who have adequate experience in similar activities and have the required storage, display, and selling infrastructure.
Shilp Guru Award
The “Shilp Guru Award” for master craftspersons was introduced by the Ministry of Textiles to honor legendary master craftspersons of handicrafts whose work and dedication have contributed not only to the preservation but also to the promotion of the rich and diverse craft heritage of the country.
Amended Technology Upgradation Fund
The Ministry of Textiles introduced the Amended Technology Upgradation Fund Scheme (ATUFS). This scheme aims to facilitate investment, employment, productivity, quality and import and export substitution in the textile industry.
National Handicrafts Development Programme: Infrastructure And Technology Support: URBAN HAAT
The scheme “Infrastructure & Technology Support: URBAN HAAT” is introduced is to set up a permanent marketing infrastructure in towns/ metropolitan cities to provide direct marketing facilities to handicrafts artisans/handloom weavers, enabling them to sell their products to wider target audience.
National Handicrafts Development Programme: Research & Development Scheme
The “NHDP: Research & Development Scheme” is introduced to generate feedback on economic, social, aesthetic, and promotional aspects of various crafts and artisans in the handicraft sector. The surveys and studies are sponsored/conducted to generate suitable inputs for planning purposes.
Scholarship Scheme for Girl Children of Jute Mills / MSMEs Workers
National Jute Board Act, 2008 provides to “secure better working conditions and provisions and improve amenities and incentives for workers engaged in the jute industry.”
GROUP WORKSHED SCHEME

The scheme “Direct Benefit to Artisans – Supports to Artisans in Indigent Circumstances” is designed to give a boost to the handicraft sector in India. Assistance of upto ₹8,000/- per month is granted to the Artisans in Indigent Circumstances in the form of monthly allowance/lump sum grant/ both.

In the scheme “Infrastructure and Technology Support: EMPORIA” assistance would be provided for the setting up of emporia. These would be set up in commercially viable locations in the implementing agencies’ own/rented buildings.
