The “Disability Aids and Appliances” scheme was launched by the Telangana Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, LET&F (Labour) Dept. Telangana to provide artificial limbs, wheelchairs, tricycles, & other fabricated appliances to registered construction workers who have lost their limb
“Mukhyamantri Divyangjan Sashaktikaran Chhatra Yojana” aims to provide comprehensive support to the disabled community in Bihar. A significant component of this scheme involves the distribution of battery-operated tricycles to beneficiaries to enhance their mobility and independence.
The objective of the scheme is to provide assistance to economically weaker ST students to meet their emergency needs in special circumstances. Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided to ST students studying in Class 1 to 10 in cases of urgency or emergency.
Under the scheme, a one-time subsidy will be provided on the purchase of battery-operated tricycle (e-rickshaw) vehicles to registered construction disabled workers. Also, assistance will be available for the amount of Registration Fee and Road Tax paid for the first time of the new Three-Wheeler.
