The scheme “Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chhatravriti Yojna to Scheduled Caste Students” was started by the Dept. of Education, H.P. Under the scheme, scholarship is given to top 1250 meritorious students of SC category as such in the result of Matric Examination conducted by H.P. Board of School Education.
The Namo Tablet Yojana in Gujarat is a state-specific version of the central government’s PM Tablet Scheme. The scheme was launched in 2017 by the Gujarat government and aims to distribute tablets to around 3.5 lakh students in the state.
The objective of the scheme is to recognize and promote quality education amongst Students belonging to OBC, EBC and DNT categories by providing full financial support. The Scheme will cover OBC/EBC/DNT students for pursuing studies beyond Class XII.
“The Bharati Scheme for Education – 6th Class to 10th Class” encourages Brahmin students of Andhra Pradesh to continue their education. Under this scheme, financial assistance for the academic year will be granted to eligible poor Brahmin student applicants.
“Rani Durgavati and Shankarshah Puraskar Scheme (Reward Scheme for Meritorious Students)” provides awards ranging from ₹3,000/- to ₹51,000/- to the meritorious students from the Scheduled Tribe community based on their performance in the 10th and 12th board examinations.
The “Training Assistance for Competitive Examinations” scheme provides financial assistance to non-reserved category students who are undergoing training in recognized institutions for competitive recruitment examinations.
The objective of this scheme is to award cash prizes to meritorious differently-abled persons (visually challenged students) who are studying in government and private schools of Puducherry and secure first, second and third rank concerning total marks in the SSLC and HSC exams.
In this scheme, Special Education is provided to children with disability who are below the age of 18 years. The child should be enrolled in a special school run by a Non-Governmental Aided Organization. Vocational Training is given to special children above the age of 18 years.
The scheme “State Agriculture Scholarship for B.Sc. & M.Sc. Agriculture” was launched by the Department of Agriculture, Government of Nagaland to provide educational assistance to students who are undergoing undergraduate (B.Sc. Agriculture) and post-graduate programme (M.Sc. Agriculture).
The “Financial Assistance for Education for the Construction Workers” by the BOCW Welfare Board, Labour Department, U.T. Administration of DNH & DD, is a welfare scheme that provides reimbursement for education of up to two children of the members.
The “Jharkhand State Scheduled Tribe Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme” aims to promote education and reduce dropout rates among Scheduled Tribe students. It provides financial assistance to students from Class 1st to 10th who are studying in government schools in Jharkhand.
The scheme was launched by the Department of Higher Education, Govt. of Haryana, on 1st July, 2008, with the aim of attracting SC students towards higher education. Under this scheme, SC students studying in govt. colleges will receive ₹2,000/- per annum for purchasing books.
This scholarship will be awarded to students who are pursuing Diploma level Courses in Engineering/Technology including Architectural Assistantship or any other equivalent courses as approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

The Awards are given to recognize excellence in research and innovation of faculty members/researchers of the Central Universities
Under this scheme, an incentive amount is provided to minority students who pass the Intermediate/Matriculation/Fauquania/Maulvi examinations with first-class marks from the Bihar School Examination Board/Bihar Madrasa Education Board.
“Uchch Shiksha Puraskar Yojana” aims to encourage and motivate students from weaver families to pursue higher education. ₹20,000/- is provided to talented students from weaver families who get admission in first year of Engineering/Medical/CA/MBA courses in any government college in Chhattisgarh.
The scheme aims to provide financial grants to meritorious ST (P)/OBC/MOBC students in Assam who secure high marks in Matriculation, 10+2, Graduation, or Post Graduation. Benefits include fixed monetary assistance ranging from ₹10,000/- to ₹25,000/- based on educational level.
A merit-based scholarship scheme of ₹18,000 per annum by the Department of Higher Education, Government of Himachal Pradesh will be awarded to 10 toppers each from Class 12 (Arts, Science, and Commerce) and from the merit list of B.A., B.Sc. and B.Com
The “National Renewable Energy Internship Scheme” by MNRE provides internship opportunities to facilitate students pursuing undergraduate/graduate/post-graduate degrees (Engineering, Science, Management, Law, etc) or research scholars enrolled in recognized institutes/universities.
