Operation of Sports Hostels
The scheme aims to encourage tribal students to participate in sports and prepare them for national & international competitions. Tribal students from Classes 6 to 12 are provided with free accommodation, specialized training, nutritious meals & other necessary facilities in the sports hostels.
Contract Khel Prashikshakon Ki Niyukti
The scheme facilitates the annual appointment of contract-based sports trainers for conducting various local training camps across Uttarakhand, thereby promoting employment opportunities and strengthening grassroots sports infrastructure.

The “Vayoshreshtha Samman: Courage & Bravery” award shall be given to senior citizens who have displayed extraordinary courage in the face of grave danger. The awards are conferred on 1st October every year by the Hon’ble President of India at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

This scheme offers scholarships for PhD, M.Phil., Postgraduate (qualification-based and qualification cum instrument-based), and sports, as well as merit-based scholarships for graduates, ranging from ₹300/- to ₹600/- per month.
Organization of Sports Competitions and Training Programs

Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided to the children of the workers working in the industrial and commercial establishments of the state of Haryana for participating in sports competitions so that the children of the workers can also become good sportspersons.
