PM POSHAN is a centrally sponsored scheme by the Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education. Under this scheme, one hot cooked meal will be provided to the children studying in Government and Government – aided schools. The Scheme is implemented by the Ministry of Education.
The scheme “Opening and Maintenance of Boys and Girls Hostels” by the Adi Dravidar Welfare Dept, Government of Puducherry, provides boarding/lodging and hostel facilities to Scheduled Caste students in pursuance of their education and to dissuade dropping of education at school and college level.
A scholarship scheme by Ministry of Minority Affairs for students from minority communities studying in Class 1st to Class 10th in India in a government or private school, including such residential Government institutes and eligible private institutes selected and notified in a transparent manner.
The scheme “Pre-Matric Scholarship for Backward Class Students” aims to provide financial assistance to backward class students studying at the pre-matriculation level in India. Monthly scholarships of varying amounts are provided to eligible students.
“Laptop Supply Scheme” by the School Education Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh provides ₹25,000/- for purchasing a laptop to students who score 80% or more in 12th Standard from a Government Higher Secondary School or a Madhya Pradesh Board (MP Board) affiliated school.
The objective of this scheme is to motivate students by giving Merit Based Award on the benchmark of performance and to provide financial incentives to high-performing students who are economically weak. The scheme aims to increase the representation of the ST Community in the High-Rank Holders.
The objectives of this scheme are to recognize the talents of children who are recipients of the National Child Award for Exceptional Achievements and other National/International Merit Awards and to recognize the talents of children who are pursuing outstanding achievements in different fields.
“Grant of Annual Scholarship to the Students Belonging to UT of Puducherry Selected and Studying in the Sainik School, Amaravathi Nagar, Tamil Nadu” is a Scholarship Scheme by the Directorate of School Education, Puducherry. A scholarship of ₹10,000/- per annum per student is provided.
“Super 30” was launched by the Directorate of Secondary Education, Tripura. The scheme aims to provide free coaching for JEE/ NEET to the students who are appearing in the class 10th Board Final Exam and want to pursue Science Stream in Class 11th & 12th with the aspiration to crack JEE/NEET.
The scheme make sure that no brilliant student is prevented on the grounds of poverty alone from pursuing the academic career. Scholarship is awarded to students in 11th & 12th standards who have secured promotion to the next higher class with 60% & 50% marks in 10th & 11th standard respectively.
The “Award of Pre-Matric Scholarship to Other Economically Backward Class (OEBC) Students” initiated by the Department of Information & Publicity, Union Territory of Puducherry, is designed to extend financial assistance to OEBC students, mitigating the risk of dropouts due to financial constraints.
The scheme “Kanya Dhan Scheme for SC Students” by the Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Goa. Through this scheme, an amount of ₹ 25,000/- is provided to the girl students of the Scheduled Caste Communities once they pass the 12th standard board examination (or equivalent).
Through this scheme, the children of industrial workers/employees, studying in classes 1st to 4th in recognized/approved schools are provided financial assistance for the purchase of textbooks/notebooks. The scheme aims to provide financial support for the educational needs of the children.
The scheme “Post Matric Scholarship to Lower Income Group Students for Studies in India” aims to provide financial assistance to students from the Lower Income Groups to enable them to complete their education. Students are provided maintenance allowances, tuition fees, and additional benefits.
Under the scheme, hostel facilities for free accommodation and meals shall be provided to the children of migrant construction workers in primary school. The aim of the scheme is to provide primary, secondary, and higher education to the children of migrant construction workers.
“Pre Matric Scholarship Scheme (Saral Vidya Sahay) for SC and OBC (V to VIII)” was introduced by the Directorate of Social Welfare, Government of Goa. The scheme aims to support parents of children belonging to Scheduled Castes and Other Backward Classes for the education of their wards.
The “Tuition Fee Reimbursement of Sainik/Public Schools” scheme by the Department of De-notified, Nomadic, and Semi-Nomadic Welfare, Government of Madhya Pradesh, reimburses tuition fees for eligible students enrolled in Sainik Schools or Institutions.
The scheme provides textbooks or cash subsidies for textbooks and writing materials to students of Government and Aided Schools. Benefits include financial assistance ranging from ₹550/- to ₹830/- per annum, with additional support for geometry boxes. All students from Nursery to 12th are eligible.
In the “Merit Awards” scheme, awards are given to the students with disability who rank 1st, 2nd, and 3rd among disabled students in the Secondary School Certificate (S.S.C.) and Higher Secondary Certificate (H.S.C.) in their respective divisional boards of education.
The “Residential School for Blinds” have been established by the Social Welfare Department, Govt. of Jammu and Kashmir for the protection, welfare, and education of the Blind. The school is located at Roop Nagar, near Fire Brigade Office, Muthi, Jammu, 180013. The intake capacity is 50 inmates.
