“Big Loan Scheme” aims to provide term loans up to ₹5,00,000/- for income-generating activities to eligible applicants from specific targets groups like SC, OBC, Minorities, Safai Karamcharis, and PwDs. The scheme is implemented by DSFDC in collaboration with National Apex Corporations.
Under this scheme, loan is provided to woman Safai Karamchari and their dependent daughters for projects with a maximum project cost of up to ₹2,00,000/- for small and petty trade/businesses, and various income-generating activities such as beauty parlors, boutiques, cosmetic shop, bangle shop, etc.
The “Pay and Use” Community Toilets Scheme under Swachhta Udyami Yojana by NSKFDC offers concessional loans to Safai Karamcharis and their dependents for setting up public toilet units, promoting sanitation, livelihood, and dignity.
The scheme “Artisan Promotion” by the DSFDC provides artisans with opportunities to participate in national fairs and exhibitions. It offers financial support for participation fees, lodging, boarding, and stipends, benefiting artisans from Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes, Minorities.
