The scheme aims to provide a monthly financial assistance of ₹1,500 to persons with disabilities, including those who are deaf, mute, blind, intellectually disabled, or orthopedically impaired, with a disability level of 40% or more and without any source of income.
The scheme “State Disability Scholarship” was launched by the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Nagaland to provide financial assistance to students from Class I to Class VIII who have a disability of 40% and above.

This scheme provides loan of up to ₹25 lakhs is provided to persons with disabilities for establishing small industrial units focused on manufacturing, fabrication, & production. Permanent residents of Haryana, aged 18 or older, with a disability of 40% or more, is eligible to avail the benefits.
Under the scheme, loans are provided to differently-abled persons for commercial hiring purposes up to ₹10.00 lakhs, and for the purchase of special category vehicles like JCBs, trucks, road rollers, etc., loans up to ₹25.00 lakhs are available.
The objective of the scheme is to provide hostel facilities to such disabled students who are taking admission in class 11th and above on a regular basis and in case hostel facilities are not available in the schools/colleges, by renting private buildings.

A scheme by DoEPwDs for providing financial assistance to the Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) in support of various livelihood activities. The objective of these guidelines is to provide a framework to support financial assistance under the Fund for relevant core areas for empowerment of PwDs.
Under this scheme, there is a provision to provide free housing facilities to a group of 5 disabled students, to motivate them for higher education, by providing accommodations to them. The accommodations are provided at a rental building.
The scheme aims to extend financial support for National & International Events organized by reputed organizations or an individual person with disabilities working for welfare of Persons with Disabilities.
The main objective of the Scheme is to assist needy disabled persons in procuring durable, sophisticated, scientifically manufactured, modern, standard aids and appliances that can promote their physical, social and psychological rehabilitation by reducing the effect of disabilities.
“Grant Of Incentive For Marriage Between Differently Abled Person And Normal Persons” by the Dept of Social Welfare, Govt of Puducherry supports marriages between differently-abled individuals and those without disabilities. An incentive of ₹1,00,000/- is provided (₹20,000 as cash, and ₹80 as NSC).
Through this scheme, an incentive of ₹2,00,000/- is provided, comprising ₹40,000 in cash and ₹1,60,000/- in the form of a National Savings Certificate (NSC), for the marriage between differently-abled individuals. The selection is periodical and depends on the availability of funds.
Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided to the disabled (blind, mentally retarded, mute and deaf) children of registered workers employed in industrial and commercial establishments in the state of Haryana.
Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided for artificial limbs upto rates fixed by Saket Hospital, Chandimandir(Panchkula). This assistance is available to workers employed in industrial &commercial units in Haryana and their dependents, who become disabled due to the loss of vital organs.
The “Permanent Disability Pension Scheme” by the BOCW Welfare Board, Department of Labour, Punjab, is a welfare scheme that provides pension to the registered beneficiary with at least 1 year of membership with the Board who becomes fully disabled.
