Mukhyamantri Samajik Sahayata Prakalpa – Persons with Disabilities

The scheme “Mukhyamantri Samajik Sahayata Prakalpa – Persons with Disabilities” was launched by the Directorate of Social Welfare and Social Education, Government of Tripura to provide financial assistance to Persons with Disabilities in the form of a monthly pension of ₹2,000/-.

Supply of Radio to the Blind Persons

“Supply of Radio to the Blind Persons” was launched by the Dept of Social Welfare, Govt of Puducherry. In this scheme, a radio is provided to the blind person for recreation. The applicant should have disability of 40% or above, and should be a Native/Resident of Puducherry.

Supply of Sarees and Dhoties to Differently Abled Persons

In this scheme, free dhothies and sarees or equivalent Direct Benefit Transfer are provided to the differently abled persons who are benefited under the monthly financial assistance schemes in lieu of Diwali / Pongal / local regional festivals.

Disability Assistance (ANBOCWWB)

The scheme provides financial assistance to registered construction workers who become disabled due to an accident during the course of their employment on the production of a certificate from competent medical authorities in respect of the percentage of disability.

Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme- Bihar

Under this scheme, a monthly pension of ₹400/- is provided to persons with disabilities in the age group of 18 to 79 years who belong to Below Poverty Line (BPL) families to support them financially. This scheme is centrally sponsored.

Bihar Disability Pension Scheme

The objective of this scheme is to provide social security to the persons with disabilities (PwDs) of the poor family of the society by providing them financial assistance. Under this scheme, a monthly pension of ₹400/- is given to PwDs of 40% or more, regardless of their income or age group.

Pension Scheme to Disabled Persons (Divyangjan)

The scheme is implemented by the Social Welfare Department to provide financial assistance to individuals with disabilities. The primary objective is to provide financial benefits to eligible Divyangjan to cater to their basic needs. The scheme is targeted at Divyangjan aged between 18 to 59 years.

State Level Awards for Divyang Persons

Under this scheme, a cash prize of ₹8,000, along with a medal and a certificate of appreciation, is awarded to outstanding individuals in categories such as disabled employees, outstanding sportspersons, and best self-employed service providers.
