The “Financial Assistance to Self-Employment for Trained Disabled Persons” is a scheme by the Govt. of Maharashtra. The objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to facilitate the purchase of equipment for those disabled persons who are completing their vocational training.
In this scheme, Special Education is provided to children with disability who are below the age of 18 years. The child should be enrolled in a special school run by a Non-Governmental Aided Organization. Vocational Training is given to special children above the age of 18 years.
