The scheme “Vijayamritham Scheme – Cash Award for Meritorious Children with Disabilities” was launched by the Department of Social Justice, Government of Kerala.
The scheme aims to provide the best education to meritorious Scheduled Caste students in high-quality residential schools to help them build their careers and improve their living standards.
“Backward Classes Student Merit Award Scheme” aims to recognize and reward academic excellence among backward-class students. Monetary awards are provided to one boy and one girl student from backward classes who secure the highest marks at the district level in class 10th and 12th board exams.
The Scholarships for Meritorious Students to Study Abroad by the Madhya Pradesh Government provides aid to 20 students yearly with family income under ₹8 lakh, 75% in postgraduation, and teaching experience or an M.Phil degree.
Under this scheme, a one-time financial assistance of ₹15,000/- along with a certificate of appreciation is awarded to top 100 meritorious students of Class 10 & each stream of Class 12, who are listed in state-level merit list of Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer.
In 2017, Madhya Pradesh State Government started a scheme “Super 5000” for student scholarships.
