The “Incentive Scheme for Sericulture Reelers” is aimed at improving the financial condition of minority communities involved in silk reeling and spinning. The corporation will provide loans to support working capital and basic infrastructure for silk spinners.
The “Overseas Educational Loan Scheme” objective is to provide financial/loan assistance to students belonging to minority communities who are pursuing graduate or postgraduate degree courses in recognized universities abroad.
Under this scheme, a capital subsidy of up to 25% of the total fixed capital investment and an interest subsidy of 6% on bank-approved loans are provided to women entrepreneurs for setting up micro and small enterprises in the manufacturing and service sectors.
