Apun Ghar is a new home loan scheme for Assam Government employees as per announcement made in the Budget Speech,2016-2017 under which home loans will be provided to the State Government employees at subsidized interest rates.
Under this scheme, unemployed persons will be assisted by way of providing financial assistance in form of subsidy for establishing dairy units of 4, 10, 20 & 50 milch animals like buffaloes, indigenous cows (Hariana, Sahiwal, Belahi, Red Sindhi, Tharparkar and Gir breeds only) and crossbred cows.
Under this scheme, financial assistance in the form of interest subvention is provided to farmers who repay their crop loans on time, helping them improve their agricultural productivity and economic well-being.
