Funeral Assistance Scheme (PBAOCWWB)
The “Funeral Assistance” is a Welfare Scheme by the Puducherry Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Labour Department, Union Territory of Puducherry. Through this scheme, the Board may sanction an amount of ₹7,000/- to the nominees/dependents of the deceased Construction Worker.

This scheme “Antim Sanskar Yojana” started by the Labor department of Madhya Pradesh to provide the financial assistance in the case of death.
Perunthalaivar Karma Veerar Kamarajar Scheme of Financial Assistance Towards Funeral Expenses of the Differently Abled Persons
The scheme “Perunthalaivar Karma Veerar Kamarajar Scheme of Financial Assistance Towards Funeral Expenses of the Differently Abled Persons” was launched by the Dept of Social Welfare, Govt of Puducherry. In this scheme, financial assistance of ₹ 15,000/- is provided to meet the funeral expenses.
Death Assistance Scheme (MPBOCWWB)
Launched on 2004, the scheme “Death Assistance Scheme” is a welfare scheme by the Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (MPBOCWWB), Government of Madhya Pradesh. The scheme provides funeral assistance and ex-gratia payment to the heir of a worker in the event of their death.
Funeral Assistance Scheme (Madhya Pradesh)
Launched on 13th August 2013, the “Funeral Assistance Scheme” by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. Madhya Pradesh provides ₹3,000/- for the last rites of destitute or unclaimed bodies. The scheme also supports families registered under labour schemes.
Mukhya Mantri Samajik Suraksha Yojana: Death & Funeral Assistance (HBOCWWB)
Under the scheme, the Haryana Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board provides financial assistance of ₹5 lakhs to the nominee or legal heir in the event of a registered worker’s death due to an accident at the workplace. Additionally, ₹15,000/- will be provided for funeral expenses.
Funeral Assistance (GBOCWWB)
“Funeral Assistance (GBOCWWB)” is a Welfare Scheme by the Goa Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board of the Department of Labour and Employment, Government of Goa. Through this scheme, the nominee/dependant of the deceased worker is provided with financial assistance of ₹5,000/-.
Funeral Assistance (HBOCWWB)
Under this scheme, the “Haryana Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board” (HBOCWWB) provides financial assistance for funeral expenses to the nominee or legal heir of a registered worker in the event of their death.
Funeral Assistance (ANBOCWWB)
The scheme provides financial assistance to the nominees or dependents of deceased workers who were registered under the A&N Islands Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, towards their funeral expenses.
Financial Assistance for funeral and other activities in case of death of a worker’s – Haryana Labour Welfare Board
The scheme aims to provide financial support to the family or dependent of a deceased worker to cover funeral and related expenses. Under this scheme, an assistance amount of ₹15,000/- is provided to the dependent/family of the deceased worker.
Funeral Assistance (A.B.O.C.W.W.B)
Under this scheme, financial assistance shall be given to the nominees/dependents of a deceased registered worker, towards funeral expenses.
Funeral Benefit (MBOCWWB)
Under the scheme, financial assistance of ₹5,000/- shall be provided to nominees or dependents of deceased registered construction workers, towards funeral expenses.
Funeral Assistance- Haryana Silicosis Board
Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹15,000/- is given to the dependent/nominee of a deceased worker, who was confirmed to have Silicosis by the Silicosis Diagnosis Board, Haryana, for performing the funerary rituals.
Kabir Anthyesthi Anudan Yojana
Under this scheme, a one-time grant of ₹3,000/- is given to the family/dependent of the deceased to cover funeral expenses. The grant is provided for the death of any person of any age from a Below Poverty Line (BPL) family.
Funeral Support Scheme (HPBOCWWB)
The “Funeral Support Scheme” under the Labour and Employment Department, Himachal Pradesh, provides ₹20,000 to the nominees or dependents of registered beneficiaries to support funeral expenses.
Financial Assistance to Scheduled Castes for Funeral Rites
“Financial Assistance to Scheduled Castes for Funeral Rites” was introduced by the Adi Dravidar Welfare Department, Government of Puducherry. The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the Scheduled Caste family for performing funeral rites of their deceased family member.
Funeral Financial Assistant (APB&OCWWB)
The scheme “Funeral Financial Assistant” was started by the Department of Labour and Employment, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh for the registered workers of Arunachal Pradesh Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (APB&OCWWB).
Satyvadi Raja Harishchandra Marnotar Sahay Yojana
The scheme was launched in the year 2000 to provide financial assistance to scheduled caste families at the time of the death of a family member to cover funeral expenses, due to their poor economic conditions.
Antheyesthi Anudan Yojana
The scheme provides financial assistance of ₹5,000/- to NGOs for performing the last rites of any unclaimed or destitute person of any age/caste/class, who has died either naturally or due to an accident within Rajasthan or outside the state, provided that the cremation is conducted in Rajasthan.
