The scheme aims to formalise fisheries microenterprises and facilitate their access to institutional working capital finance through small grants and credit intermediaries. It benefits fisheries sector stakeholders registered on NFDP with verifiable credit needs and valid bank accounts.

The scheme “Motivation of Unemployed Persons to Start Self-employed Enterprises” by the Dept of Industries and Commerce, UT of Puducherry was introduced to encourage self-employment among the youth in manufacturing and service activities, supporting the growing economy of Puducherry.

Low Tension Power Tariff (LTPT) Subsidy

The scheme “Low Tension Power Tariff (LTPT) Subsidy” is introduced to assist MSME enterprises in reducing their electricity costs. A subsidy of 20% is given for 36 months from the date of commencement of production or from the date of obtaining power connection, whichever is later.

Capital Subsidy

“Capital Subsidy” by the MSME Dept, Govt of Tamil Nadu, assists MSMEs in reducing their burden of capital procurement. The subsidy is provided for 25% of eligible plant and machinery costs for MSMEs, with an additional capital subsidy for MSMEs set up by Women/SC/ST/Transgender/PwD entrepreneurs.

Grant of Quality Certification Reimbursement of Charges

“Grant of Quality Certification Reimbursement of Charges”reimburses payments made to Consultancy and certification agencies towards acquiring such Quality Certification subject to a ceiling of ₹ 2,00,000/- for National level certification and ₹ 10,00,000/- for International level Certification.

One Family One Enterprise Scheme

The Government of Kerala approved the scheme “One Family One Enterprise” to encourage entrepreneurial activity in every household and empower women’s entrepreneurship. This scheme aims to set up at least one MSME unit including trade activity in each family.

Subsidy for Asset Creation for Intellectual Property: Patent Registration

Payroll Subsidy

The scheme “Payroll Subsidy” by the Govt of Tamil Nadu, is introduced with the objective of assisting MSMEs in reducing their employee cost. The scheme provides reimbursement of employee’s contributions to the EPF for their employees, subject to a maximum of ₹ 24,000/- per employee per annum.

Generator Subsidy

The scheme “Generator Subsidy” is introduced with the objective of assisting all new and existing Micro, Small, and Medium Manufacturing Enterprises through a subsidy of 25% on the cost of the generator purchased (up to 320 KVA capacity), subject to a maximum of ₹ 5,00,000.

Reimbursement of Stamp Duty and Registration Charges

The scheme “Reimbursement of Stamp Duty and Registration Charges” by the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Department, Government of Tamil Nadu, is introduced with the objective of reducing the stamp duty and registration charges incurred by MSEs investing in backward blocks.
