The scheme “Financial Assistance to Poor Scheduled Caste People Suffering From Prolonged Diseases” was introduced by the Adi Dravidar Welfare Dept, Govt of Puducherry. The objective of the scheme is to assist poor patients from Scheduled Castes suffering from prolonged illness.
“Chikitsa Pratipoorti Yojana” is a scheme by the Department of Labour, Employment, Training & Skill Development Govt of Jharkhand. The scheme provides financial assistance to the Registered Workers for the treatment of serious illnesses (cancer, heart disease, kidney disease, etc.

The Puducherry Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board provides up upto ₹2,00,000/- for specialized medical treatment in Hospitals having tie-ups with Government General Hospitals. The amount for the medical treatment is credited through DBT into the bank account.
