Indira Gandhi National Disabled Pension Scheme (Madhya Pradesh)

Launched on 1st April 2009, the scheme “Indira Gandhi National Disabled Pension Scheme” is a pension scheme by the Department of Social Welfare, Govt of Madhya Pradesh. In this scheme, a pension of ₹600/- is provided to differently-abled individuals from ‘Below Poverty Line’.

Marriage Assistance to Person with Disability / BPL

The scheme aims to support differently-abled brides/bridegrooms from BPL families by providing financial assistance to meet marriage-related expenses. Under this scheme, an amount of ₹30,000/- is provided to Scheduled Tribe, differently-abled brides/bridegrooms for their first marriage.

“Financial Assistance on the Natural Death of Differently Abled Person” was launched by the Dept for the Welfare of Differently Abled Persons, Tamil Nadu. A financial assistance of ₹15,000/- is provided to the legal heir in the event of the natural death of the differently-abled person.

The scheme provides provide financial support to native residents of Gujarat who have a disability of 40% or more. The eligible individuals can avail of a term loan ranging from ₹50,000/- to ₹1,00,000/- at a concessional interest rate of 6% per annum for a repayment period of five years.

Differently Abled Pension Scheme

The ‘Differently Abled Pension Scheme’ aims to provide a pension of ₹1,000/- to differently-abled persons with disability level 40% and above. The scheme provides other benefits every year during the Pongal and Deepavali festival saree, dhoti and a nutritious meal is supplied through Anganwadi.
