The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to the legal dependent of the deceased UPNAL employee, who was duly nominated during the service period to receive the ex-gratia amount. Under this scheme, an ex-gratia amount of ₹1,00,000/- is provided from the UPNAL fund to eligible beneficiaries.
The scheme provides a one-time grant of ₹10,00,000 to widows/dependents of martyred soldiers or paramilitary personnel.
