The scheme “Schooling Education” by the Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Labour Dept., J&K, provides financial assistance for the education of children of registered construction workers, from Class Nursery/1st to 5th, and from Class 6th to 8th.
The “Marriage Assistance” scheme by the JKBOCW Welfare Board, Labour Department, Jammu & Kashmir, provides financial aid to registered construction workers for the marriage of their dependents, including up to three marriages for their sons, daughters, siblings, or themselves.
The scheme offers loans up to ₹10,00,000/- for housing, house construction, and repair/extension purposes, at a 12% interest rate to provide financial aid to citizens for housing needs.
The “Financial Assistance for Medical” scheme by the JKBOCW Welfare Board, Labour Department, Jammu & Kashmir, provides financial support for medical expenses, including injury treatment, temporary and permanent disability, and the treatment of chronic diseases.
The scheme provides financial assistance for the marriage of a registered female worker herself (including one-time remarriage) and for up to two daughters of a registered worker. The scheme applies to the marriage of the female beneficiary herself and the legal, adopted, or stepdaughter of worker.
The scheme “Grant of House Construction Subsidy to Scheduled Caste People” was introduced by the Adi Dravidar Welfare Dept, Govt of Puducherry. The poor Scheduled Caste people, and other Economically backward class people, who meet the eligibility criteria, are provided house construction subsidy.
The scheme “Advance for Purchase or Construction of House” was started by the Department of Labour and Employment, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh for the registered workers of Arunachal Pradesh Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (APB&OCWWB).
Through the “Integrated Farming for Productivity Improvement Scheme” by the Coconut Development Board, the coconut farmers are provided financial assistance through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) mode for the Laying of the Demonstration Plot, and for the Construction of the Organic Manure Unit.
The “Funeral Assistance” is a Welfare Scheme by the Puducherry Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Labour Department, Union Territory of Puducherry. Through this scheme, the Board may sanction an amount of ₹7,000/- to the nominees/dependents of the deceased Construction Worker.
The “Maternity Assistance” is a Welfare Scheme by the Puducherry Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Labour Department, Union Territory of Puducherry. Through this scheme, the women employees who are beneficiary of the fund shall be given ₹5,000/- each as maternity benefit.
This scheme extends financial assistance of ₹2,25,000/- to the nominees/dependents of the deceased Construction Worker, apart from the ₹2,00,000/- extended through the Life Insurance Corporation (LIC). The amount is credited through DBT into the bank account of the nominee/dependent.
Launched on 2004, the scheme “Death Assistance Scheme” is a welfare scheme by the Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (MPBOCWWB), Government of Madhya Pradesh. The scheme provides funeral assistance and ex-gratia payment to the heir of a worker in the event of their death.
The scheme was revised in 2018, the “Chief Minister’s Building and Other Construction Workers Urban Housing Scheme,” to provide an additional ₹1,00,000 assistance to eligible construction workers in urban areas, along with grants from the Central and State Governments.
Launched in 2013, the “Chief Minister’s Building and Other Construction Workers Housing (Rural) Scheme” provides permanent houses to registered construction workers in rural areas of Madhya Pradesh.
The scheme “Yashwantrao Chavan Mukta Vasahat Yojana for VJNTs,” was launched by the Dept of Social Justice & Special Assistance, Govt of Maharashtra. Each VJNT family will receive a plot of land measuring 5 gunthas (approximately 500 square meters or about 5,382 square feet).
The “Rearing Pond Construction Scheme” by the Department of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, and Cooperation, Government of Jharkhand, aims to promote fish farming by providing financial aid for constructing rearing ponds. Beneficiaries receive up to 80% government assistance for Scheduled Castes (SC)
A subsidy of Rs. 1,30,000/- is given to persons from Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes, Minority Communities, Single Women, or handicapped for the construction of the house.
The “Accident Medical Assistance” is a Welfare Scheme by the Puducherry Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Labour Department. The Board may sanction an amount of ₹1,500/- per month to the Construction Worker who has met an accident and sustained fracture.
The “Paternity Benefit” scheme by the Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board provides ₹6,000/- per delivery to the wife of a registered worker (for up to two deliveries) and ₹1,000/- to the male worker upon the birth of a child.
The scheme aims to provide central assistance for the construction of fish kiosks, including those for aquarium/ornamental fish.
