The scheme “National Family Benefit Scheme (NFBS)” was launched in 2016 by the Department of Women & Child Welfare, Govt. of Sikkim. Under this scheme, a lump sum amount of ₹ 30,000/- as financial assistance is provided to the bereaved household in the event of the death of the “Primary breadwinner”
Under this scheme, one-time financial assistance of ₹20,000/- is provided to the bereaved family in the case of the sudden death of the earning member (breadwinner) of the family, provided the family is living below the poverty line (BPL).
The scheme “Jeevanam Self-Employment Scheme to Dependents of Crime Victims” was launched by the Department of Social Justice, Government of Kerala.
