Backward Classes Foreign Study Scholarship Scheme

Launched on 1st January 2007, the “Backward Classes Foreign Study Scholarship Scheme” by the Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh provides financial assistance to backward class students for postgraduate, Ph.D., and post-research studies abroad.

Issuance of Free House Sites

This scheme provides free residential land sites to eligible individuals from the Backward Classes (BC), Most Backward Classes (MBC), and Denotified Communities (DNC) who do not own a house or land, helping them secure housing stability.

Distribution of Sewing Machines at Free of Cost

The scheme provides sewing machines to support individuals from Backward Classes (BC), Most Backward Classes (MBC), and Denotified Communities (DNCs) engaged in tailoring work, aiming to improve their livelihood opportunities.

Educational Loan Scheme (GBCDC)

The scheme provides financial support to students from socially and educationally backward classes for higher technical and professional education. It offers loans at concessional interest rates for approved graduate and postgraduate courses like engineering, medical, MBA, MCA, and more.

Micro Finance (GBCDC)

The scheme aims to create self-employment for the backwards class men. Through this scheme, low interest rates and financial help are provided to the backwards class men.

Saksham Scheme for Backward Classes

Under the scheme, loans of up to ₹10,00,000/- are provided to young professionals for setting up Doctors’ Clinics, Nursing Homes, Physiotherapy Clinics, Bio-Medical Labs, Lawyers’ Offices, Engineering Units, Chemist Shops, Architect Offices, and similar establishments.

Term Loan Scheme for Backward Classes

The scheme is implemented by the Haryana Backward Classes & Economically Weaker Sections Kalyan Nigam. Under this scheme, loans of up to ₹15,00,000/- are provided at an annual interest rate of 6% to 8% to individuals from the Backward Classes to enhance their employability.

Anya Pichhda Varg Kalyan Chhatravaas

The Scheme “Anya Pichhda Varg Kalyan Chhatravaas” under the BC & EBC Welfare Department, Bihar. under this scheme, provied ₹1,000/- per month hostel grant is provided for each student and 15 kg of free food grains per month (9 kg rice + 6 kg wheat).

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Awas Navinikarn Yojna

The main purpose of this scheme is to provide grant for the repair of house to all families living under below poverty line, whose house needs repair. An amount of Rs. 80,000/- is provided for this purpose. Only on-line applications on https://saralharyana.gov.in/ are accepted under this scheme.

Shilp Sampada Term Loan Scheme for Backward Classes- Haryana

The scheme provides loans of up to ₹10,00,000/- to artisans & handicraft persons from backward classes to preserve traditional arts and crafts. The scheme also offers training to upgrade their existing skills with the latest technological inputs, such as the use of computers, CAD, etc.

Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme-Bihar

The “Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme-Bihar” aims to provide financial assistance to eligible students from Extremely Backward Classes (EBC) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) for their post-secondary education.

Jan-Nayak Karpoori Thakur Kalyan Hostel Scheme

The “Jan-Nayak Karpoori Thakur Kalyan Hostel Scheme” by the BC & EBC Welfare Department, Bihar provides hostel facilities for students near Saharsa District with food grains (9 kg rice, 6 kg wheat) and ₹1000/- per month as a grant.

Swayam Saksham Yojana (GBCDC)

This scheme aims to instill a sense of self-reliance in the youth belonging to backward classes after receiving vocational education/training. Under this scheme, eligible youth are provided loans at a low-interest rate to start self-employment ventures.

Jharkhand State Backward Classes Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme

The “Jharkhand State Backward Classes Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme” aims to promote higher education among OBC students in Jharkhand. The scheme provides financial assistance to students pursuing professional and academic courses at the post-matriculation level.

Distribution of Iron Boxes at Free of Cost

The scheme provides complimentary iron boxes to support individuals from Backward Classes (BC), Most Backward Classes (MBC), and Denotified Communities (DNCs) engaged in washing work, aiming to improve their livelihood.
