The scheme enables artisans and handicraft organizations to participate in government-sponsored melas across Gujarat and other states, fostering market access and preserving traditional crafts. Benefits include subsidized stall fees, promotional support, sales opportunities for handmade products.

Handicraft Rebate Scheme

The scheme provides 5–20% rebates on sales of handicraft goods to cooperatives, with higher incentives for women-led groups and during festivals. Applications are submitted online via e-Kutir.

Manav Kalyan Yojana

The scheme provides toolkit assistance (e-vouchers) to economically weak individuals (annual income ≤ ₹6,00,000/-) for self-employment in 10 trades like dairy, plumbing, and beauty parlors. Beneficiaries include SC/ST, nomadic tribes, and BPL families.

New Charkha-Loom Scheme

The scheme provides 65% financial assistance for purchasing Amber Charkhas (₹13,000/-) and looms (₹30,000/-) to registered Khadi spinners and weavers, promoting sustainable livelihoods.

Jyoti Gramodyog Vikas Yojana

The scheme provides margin money subsidies (25–30%) for new rural industrial projects (₹1,00,000/- to 25,00,000/-) to artisans, entrepreneurs, and SHGs, leveraging a 24-hour electricity supply in villages. Beneficiaries must be aged 25–50 years with a Class 10th education.

Tool Assistance Scheme for Pottery Artisans

The scheme aims to provide essential tools like electric chalk and electric footmill to individual artisans with a 75% subsidy. It benefits pottery workers, particularly those of Prajapati/Kumbhar caste, by offering instrumental assistance and requiring a 25% beneficiary contribution.

Assistance Scheme for Handicraft Artisans

The Scheme intends to provide financial assistance in the form of grant to the artisans in the handicrafts sector for setting up handicraft enterprises. The assistance is a one time support to eligible artisans of the state as back end assistance.

Gramodhyog Vikas Kendra

The scheme aims to provide infrastructure facilities at village level to artisans through Common Facility Centers. Registered Non-Governmental Organizations, cooperative societies and trusts receive financial assistance up to ₹13,00,000/- for building infrastructure, training, equipment, etc.

Dattopant Thengadi Artisan Interest Subsidy Scheme

The scheme aims to provide financial assistance and low-interest capital to Handloom & Handicraft artisans for business development. It offers loans up to ₹1,00,000/-, along with Margin Money Subsidy (20-25%) and a 7% Interest Subsidy, benefiting registered artisans of Cottage industries in Gujarat.

Artisan Promotion

The scheme “Artisan Promotion” by the DSFDC provides artisans with opportunities to participate in national fairs and exhibitions. It offers financial support for participation fees, lodging, boarding, and stipends, benefiting artisans from Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes, Minorities.
